Good (snowy) evening friends!
With all of this crummy weather we’ve been having, I wanted to share a touch of the keys from the sunshine state itself. A few girlfriends and I escaped down south for a quick trip or as we called it – “mini suncation”, for some vitamin D, delicious coconut inspired cocktails and day-long breezy bike cruising. My fellow photographer & love Christina urged us to visit Ernest Hemingway’s home, which was a truly inspiring delight. Wandering throughout room after room with our cameras, petting all of the cats on the grounds, standing on that glorious sun drenched porch and glimpsing into his world had me swallowed up in a magical time capsule.
I didn’t want to leave.
I came home with pink cheeks and feeling quite refreshed, which was exactly what I needed. Thank you Florida for your sunshine. Your warm & humid air left my straightened hair curly and frizzy and my soul full of rum & mint.
Here’s to hoping warmer days are around the corner.
